New Content

So, I've changed this site around some. While I am still working on building up The Modern Explorer business, this blog will now concentrate on writings about my personal interests. Primarily, I am interested in, and want to write about camping, hiking, adventure, search and rescue, wilderness first aid, environmental issues, emergency response issues, etc.... I hope to include pictures and reports of my camping and hiking experiences, as well as nature pictures. Since I have been out of work, and can not spend the time and money to go full swing into a store, I have started a new business, Yard Boyz Lawn Care. However, my passion is to get a job as a Park Ranger or Wilderness Ranger for the US Forest Service. I also want to volunteer on a Search and Rescue Team and a CERT Team. I will be posting more details on my experiences with all of this. I also want to explore writing and photography as it relates to nature, travel, gardening, wilderness survival, and living naturally. I hope that this blog will appeal to some audience out there. Money has been tight for me lately, and living near Pensacola, Florida, I have been trying to get a job working on the oil spill cleanup. This is a huge disaster to our local ecosystem. I will probably write more on that as well.
